We thought it was time to take things back a few years, and flip the dial over to the retro side of the gage for a wallpaper showcase that is sure to inspire. We are big fans of the retro stylings that designers craft into their work, and we definitely love adding new wallpapers to our computers to keep the ‘scenery’. Put those two things together, friends, and there is magic in the making.

LOL, I know the feeling Jon. I’ve tried a few different apps that cycle wallpapers but haven’t found one yet that isn’t a total system hog.
Windows 7 has the native ability to change your wallpapers after a given interval i.e. if you are not on Mac.
The wallpapers are brilliant. It is always great to see an artist with a free mind, and the talents to let their mind shine through art.

These are cool. I’ve saved a few for inspiration.
What do people think about possibly adding some kind of pixel art retro wallpaper design? I personally love pixel art from the likes of Eboy. Maybe something brilliant like that could be turned around into something retro looking?
