Billings Review and Giveaway **Winners Announced
As far as freelancing goes, there is only one area that it less fun and no where near as exciting as the overall work, and that is the accounting side of the coin. Freelancers generally all face this kind of detail drag through the less creative and more numerical areas or our arena, never fully relishing in the paperwork half of the equation due to its tedious and relatively boorish nature. But that is becoming a thing of the past in our freelance forum, as we have recently discovered Billings 3.

Billings is the time tracking, billing, and invoicing software that changes the game completely for all of the folks struggling to conquer their accounting matters. This extremely easy to use, award winning software takes care of so many of your billing needs that you will never look at doing your financials the same way again. With invoicing and account statements all readily awaiting your minor input and template selection, the once time consuming process of preparing this paperwork has been revised in a revolutionary and time saving manner.

Billings also keeps track of your client’s payments, and allows for billing single or multiple projects to your client at a time. Billings will manage the account information for each client, not only notifying you when a client’s payment becomes past due, but by also allowing you to set up a recurring billing cycle for your client which will automatically alert you when their payment initially comes due. When Billings tallies and tabulates your payments, it also tracks your taxes as well.

Project management, an important area of the freelancing lifestyle, has gotten a few more helping hands to improve your performance in this realm through Billings. With built-in time tracking software that easily allows you to start and stop the timer throughout your system, and even tabs out the total cost of the time spent on the project when an hourly amount is provided, this software manages your projects with grace and style.

With a handsome interface and so much flexibility of control, it is easy to see why Billings has become such a popular staple among the freelance community. It even has a bevy of built-in reporting functions to give the user a quick financial overview of all the managed data that it has tracked.

With its built-in integration to work with other programs such as Daylite, Merlin, and more, Billings establishes itself as the innovative billing and invoicing software leader that it has proven to be. From its initial launch to the latest version, Billings has become a popular Mac application whose stability and flexibility continue to set this software powerhouse apart from other programs in its playing field.

Excellent. I’ve seen many blogs offering contests to win this software. It looks superb! Thanks for the opportunity. *Crosses fingers*
Having this would make my life a bit easier. I’m tired of WP-Invoice and Freshbooks is good but limited with the free version
Awesome. We use Daylite right now for our CRM and love it. It would be great to be able to integrate that into Billings for a smooth system. Thanks for the offer!
I currently use iBiz, but I’m not thrilled with with and have heard some pretty terrific things about Billings. On top of the functionality, which seems to be spot-on, the interface is clean, attractive and seems very user-friendly.
Would love to have Billings, I still don’t have any invoicing software, and Billings is what I have locked my eyes on to!
Man, I could really use this. I’m still hand invoicing. *shudder*
Thanks for the write-up! I’ve also been looking to move away from Freshbooks and this seems like a great and more robust alternative.
The product looks amazing. Great design and functionality.
A friend of mine uses the Billings software exclusively and keeps telling me to get it and use it. I gave the trial a run a few months ago. Would love to have it full time.
Wooo great review !
I hope to win this great app :)
Invoices in Illustrator and cashflow in Excel- I knew there must be an easier way!
Shiny :) I’ve been using the RoR app Bamboo … and have tried various others but always with no time tracking so if Billings works as expected it’d be cool
I know as a new freelancer I could really use this instead of the free version of freshbooks.
Nice. Looks very easy to use.
It’s amazing. It would be great to have this software in my set for my freelancing work!
wow – it would be awesome
I really want to win it this time…
Looks very handy. I’d use this over the others out there.
Looks great!
This is a really nice app. Hope I win it..! =)
Sweet!
This looks great. I’ve been using FreshBooks, but this looks even better. I’d love to win a copy!
Yay! Another chance.
Looks amazing! Hope to win a copy!
i wish i was really busy just so i could use this software…
We’ve been using LessAccounting, which is doing it’s job… but this is just WOW!!
this would be really useful.
Billings is awesome, would love some free usage!
Hey, not looking to enter as I already own it! Just wanted to say its an awesome product, really top notch.
Would love to win a copy, thanks!
Great review! I’d love to win.
Count me in. I’m ready to make my billing easier and way more cool! Thanks for the giveaway!
Wow, that’s a great giveaway!
Would love to have Billings, I still don’t have any invoicing software.
I would love to win billings, and my trial is running low, and it is definitely the best invoicing program for a mac.
I used the demo of Billings a while back. I have to admit it is an extremely slick application, I’ve been going back and forth about it’s purchase ever since. I may just have to give in.
Having just started out as a freelancer this summer I am in need of some proper way of doing my accounting, I have looked into this program, but can’t afford it at the minute!
This would be great!
Maybe I can finally get organized :-)
This is absolutely fantastic. I currently use MYOB, and it is just not right for freelance work in the way this product seems to be. Great find!
Man this would be great, my current billing system is atrocious. For two years I’ve been doing my invoicing in Illustrator. It takes me forever just to do a simple change. Billings looks awesome, would love a copy. Thanks Fuel.
sweet, could really use this!
Am I not allowed to enter?? haha :)
Oh you can enter, Tim…but you see that cool little flame behind your head there, that means you won’t win. But you can enter all you want. ;p
LOL!! I’d rather not win than give the flame up though. :)
can has billings?
Looks like this program could solve a lot of problems! I hate having to manually create invoices and track all the payments. ugh.
Great app. Wish this could integrate with Quickbooks
Knock! knock!
Who’s that?
Billings!
I look forward to trying this out! Thanks.
Great application, wish I could win this time…
This looks brilliant… But sadly, I use Windows.
