I’d love someone to start developing “designer” themes. Themes that while typographically are nice, leave large areas designed to customizing the template on the designers end.
I’d love to see more minimalism, more portfolios, and more magazine style themes. Can’t go wrong with any of those.

Based on his gallery, I’d say time to focus on corporate themes.
Definately would love to see a magazine/newspaper theme with awesome typography. Something unconventional and out of the box. I am a bit tired of the trendy magazine themes out there.
would like to see more CMS themes to make it look less WP like and more like a CMS style website. and of course more portfolio sites.

I’d love to see a design which is slick, simple and cusomizable. A template which doesn’t look like a blog yet retain the functionality of a blog. Single column content with 3 column footer, no sidebar adds or side menu. Header would have a menu spanning the horizontal at the bottom of the image header. Center content on the main page could be a scroll of recent posts or featured posts.
Continually impressed with quality, creativity and value of Nick’s Elegant Themes. Compare with other providers asking much more and providing much less.
These look like some great themes. The design looks right, the spacing and little details really make the designs good.
I’m always in search for typography and easy-customizable themes.

Would love to see some easily customizable themes with relatively minimalistic design. Lots of widgets in lots of places as well.
I like to see very specific niche themes ie. themes for left-handed computer nerds or for rabbit farmers. We see some very nicely done themes for general purposes all the time. Let’s see something new.
Or… tastefully back to basic themes with easy customizability.
First of all im an elegant theme fan. I want their theme to have more usable and user friendly admin panel options.
