Google Your Creativity: A Logo Showcase
We have all seen our share of inspiring logos, and for those among us who haven’t, check out the related posts at the bottom of this article, and you are sure to get an eye full. On your way down to those links make sure you take in the inspiring little showcase we have collected for you here. It is true, that some logos are designed with an inspirational edge, but it is not often that a logo is redesigned with that same playful nature in mind. It is not that often, that you see a logo redesigned, due to the fact that one of a logo’s main purposes is to establish an easily recognizable brand. So alteration, even for the briefest of celebrations, is generally out of the question. Unless of course your brand is so well established that you can branch out and be as whimsical as you want from time to time, without fear of undermining the years of branding you have worked to develop.

Enter Google Holiday Logos. This section of Google’s site is dedicated to showcasing their creatively altered holiday logos that don the header of their search page from time to time. So many playful special occasion renderings of the Google logo, that wonderfully and artistically capture the season or celebration they are intended to honor, that we decided to do a showcase of some of what we believe are the most creative among the many. But we encourage you to not stop here. Visit the site through the link above and find your own favorites of this bold and jovial momentary ‘re-branding’, that we believe, has made their logo standout more so than it ever had before. Enjoy…
Google Gone Wild

Wrap it up
That just about does it, here anyway. As we mentioned, there are many more to sort through on the Google Holiday Logos section of their site, so if you haven’t had your fill quite yet, head on over that way, and keep the magic moving.

MTV did a great job on altering their logo many times. A few are shown here: http://pacman.pri.ee/mtv/ Enjoy!
Such a clever idea to occasionally bring to life an otherwise dull web page.
Brilliant Post Angie! Companies like Google who respect and embrace creativity, will always find its benefits, even in the little things.

I have to say these were really impressive and very well done. I especially liked the Halloween one.
Great idea of bringing a little refreshment to standard Google identity. Surely it helps Google establishing better relations with its clients by remembering about their national holidays
