Inspiring Minimalistic Photography
Photography is a way to capture an event and preserve it as long as the photo or the digital proof exists. Minimal photography is very expressive especially if there is a subject in the middle. Sometimes with bright colors or deep rich D-maxed black & white minimal photography is beautiful, simple, clean & inspiring.

While not only wonderful pictures, these also could lay the foundation for some very interesting photo manipulations!
These are some beautiful photographs! Some are manipulated a bit, though.
Brilliant collection! love them… my favourites are the coloury ones.
I wonder how maximalism looks like in photography…
Thanks for sharing!
Nice, I love minimalism!!!
Great images. It’s amazing how images with such little colour still have such depth and visual interest.
Those are some marvelous photographs, wish mine were that high-quality!
Outstanding! I’m very jealous of those images, I wish I could do as well. Those pictures took a lot of ability to make, well done. I’ve bookmarked this site.
simply amazing photography! i particularly like tim simmon’s play on light and shadow…
Very inspiring pictures. Perfect! I particularly like the silhouette of the cityscape.
All pictures are great. But Dan Flavins’ are the best!
Great pictures, I really like the ones from Tim Simmons the
first 2 of Michael Kenna
I love these photos. I want to put some of these up on my wall.
Pics 1-4: No 3DS Max?:)
Some great examples of minimalistic photography.
You’re damn right Jamie. I want them on my wall too.
Especially the second one..
This is indeed inspiring:)
I am a sucker for minimalism! Love these examples. I think the Tim Simmons stuff is my favorite.
I definitely love 1 and 3. I’m just now trying to work on my off camera lighting.
I love photo 2, it looks unreal (like CGI) in fact a lot look like they could be off a movie set!
wow these remind me of HDR shots but the lighting in these shots is superb. Reminds me of one of my vivid dreams except the colors here are way better!
Love Dan Flavins’s Images!
Very creative with the different lighting styles.
Very cool shots. I never just stop and look around at my surroundings. Maybe I should start paying attention to the small details in my day to day life…inject some interesting little things into my photography : )
