SixCentral Launches

The freelance world got a little more exciting yesterday, with the much anticipated launch of the new client and proposal organization, management, and automation application SixCentral. Not that this awesome new app is strictly for the Freelance crowd, but since that is largely where my hat hangs, that is where I got excited! (and since the freelance design community was whom the developers had in mind when creating this handy tool, I stand by statement.) This easy to use proposal management and more app is a stirring edition to the online design community and we here at FYC are delighted to share in announcing its arrival!

With SixCentral, you will have the ability to have a single place to organize all of your current and prospective clients. From there, you can create new project proposals and send them to any client in your database. Your clients will have the ability to accept, deny, postpone or comment on your proposal. Everything will be stored at SixCentral — instead of your inbox.

Recognizing the need for an automated management system for freelance businesses, and striking out to develop and design an application to satisfy that need is no easy task. For a little more on how this triumphant trio managed to make this happen, check out the interview on Fuel Your Apps yesterday, Behind the App: Six Central. It really is an interesting look behind the scenes of this app development, providing great insight into the project and the desires that drove it into reality.
