Lately I have been surfing around vi.sualize.us and last night I was totally inspired by some really sexy use of typography. Since there was so much to show, I have decided to break it up into a few different parts - so stay tuned for some more sexy type! Last week I was contacted about a new site, Design Bump. Design Bump is a social media site dedicated to design. Design Bump is similar to Design Float in the way it functions. So far I have been actively submitting resources and links and bumping content for about a week or so. I am enjoying it so far, I actually like that there are more categories and it is broken down further than design float. I am hoping in the future that a feature is added to include an icon within your blog posts to make submitting easier.

I read my RSS Feeds on a daily basis not only to keep up with the latest news but to see where trends in design are going, to learn new ways of doing things and to get other people’s insight on topics. It’s very useful in my every day life, but I must admit - it’s really hard to keep with it ALL the time. I used to have over 150 feeds and it was out of control.
