UPrinting is all I will ever need
I needed to get some business cards printed but kept putting it off. There are so many online vendors to choose from I didn’t know where to start! I read some reviews on design blogs and decided to try Uprinting.
Well after my experience – yeah you read the title right, Uprinting is all I will ever need.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered 1000 Business Cards (2″ x 3.5″ 4 Color Both Sides) for an upcoming project of my own. Their website was easy to use and their free project review was amazing! On the proof review they even caught a mistake and I was notified via email promptly. When I received my business cards in the mail I couldn’t wait to open them. They were perfect and the quality was top notch. I would seriously recommend trying out Uprinting, if your not sure then go ahead and request free samples here.
Did I mention they have affordable prices on everything? Yeah you can get the same order I placed for $34.92. Pretty good deal eh? What are you waiting for? Design your business cards and get them printed.
Before you go order them, check out my cards below.

The cards look great, Adelle! I have to design some myself soon, I’ll probably give them a shot if I ever get around to designing them :)

Your business card looks awesome man. I too have been putting off making new business cards lol. I didn’t use Uprinting though, but I think I’m going to next time I purchase. I bought mine through VistaPrint.
Don’t forget to checkout grprint.com and 4over.com they have a much broader selection at better prices, I’ve been doing business with them for years.
And one side-note all these online printers are Gang-Run printers, meaning that your job will be printed along with a bunch of others, this saves you setup fees and allows for smaller runs, but also can lead to color shifting and mis-registration. But you will probably never notice.
@Andrew thanks! Definitely check them out you won’t be disappointed!
Thanks @Kevin May hadn’t heard a lot of positives about VP but you will have to compare and let me know!
Wow! That may be the best business card design I’ve ever seen. Very hot. I’m a poor designer, so it makes me appreciate great design like that even more :)

I checked them out, I ordered some samples. They are very affordable and your business cards are awesome. I will definitely order some business cards from uprinting of my own as soon as I design them again.

As a designer that works for a custom printing shop, it’s tough for me to recommend the online gang printers such as Uprinting, Vista Print, 4Over, etc. I think David Hayes makes an excellent point describing the difference between gang printers and custom printers. While gang printers continue to make print a commodity, what if you want to spec different paper, PMS colors, or anything beyond their baseline specs? I think gang printers are a tool that is great for some uses, but their inability to be flexible can makes things tough at times.
I think it’s time for all of us to admit economic times are hard and CMYK over PMS is not going to kill anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I swore by PMS, press checks and all the goodness of commercial printers for many years. But honestly, I can’t afford to print local anymore and when I saw the results I got from my order with UPrinting, I was floored. I mean these guys NAILED IT! Just make sure you get a hard copy proof you can get closer to the color you want. I ordered two hard copy proofs, after I saw the first one I made some adjustments and ordered another. Total for my brochure prints including hard copy proofs was around $450. Compared to $1,500-2,000 quotes I got from local commercial printers its no wonder they’re closing shop left and right. I think gang printing has come a really long way and I’m glad I saw the light. Their prepress support is amazing and they dont charge you until you approve the proofs, which is awesome!
BTW, great design Adelle! I bet the cards look great! VIVA UPRINTING! LOL sorry I’m just so happy with my brochures :) What stock did you choose? I’m thinking of trying out their 13 pt Uncoated (the recycled one).
Thanks so much Robert! Since updating Fuel I’ve had to order new cards – they came out even better, I probably should show those at some point! I used 14pt cardstock, matte finish.
Adelle,
Did you upload the complete graphic of your card design or did you use UPrinting’s online tool to assemble and design the card?
Just wondering if it would make any difference in quality to use one method over the other.
Thanks for this blog post. I was looking for hang tags and went through UPrinting from this post. Ended up buying new business cards and some vinyl banners too! They should thank you.
