It’s a neat idea, but already I can see spammers and such laying claim to sites that they did not participate in building. Unfortunate :(
Katie you make a great point, however the spammers would need to be able to login to your site to upload an html file for it to work.
I think it’s a good idea and like Adelle said it does have spam protection similar to Google in that you need to upload an empty HTML file to your site.
